Weekend to End Breast Cancer
This is a great cause and I want to express my support for this 60K hike held in August. If you are interested, below is some information about this BC Cancer Foundation event and a link to the web page of Neemet McDowell who is doing the hike. Every great journey begins with the first step.

60K is but a short distance! The Weekend to End Breast Cancer is a two-day, 60-kilometre walk through Vancouver. Proceeds benefit the BC Cancer Foundation, funding important breast cancer research, education, services and care.
This is my second time with the walk and completing it the first time was an amazing and indescribable event. My photo is simply a tribute to two most important supporters for my walk - my husband Dave and my dog Carabiner. They are helping me with my training.
Thus I ask for your support this year as I repeat this journey. Sixty kilometers is truly but a short distance in the journey of finding a cure, treating, supporting and celebrating with those all affected by breast cancer.
And this year's walk is in special memory of Pammy's Mom and Marlene's Mom!
With your support we can all help in this wonderful cause.
Sincerely,
Neemet McDowell
